dragons can be any colour! so why put a color code! It says, in the first book I beleive, if you lined up all the dragons that ever were, you would see a rainbow of every colour, already found or unknown! So why have a colour code for the dragons! The words for the dragons can be the basic colour of what they are, but I think that thy should still be able to come in any colour!

Dragons do come in any color. The color code is for typing and visibility purposes, for example, Sílvrea is a silver dragon, and her color code is 8F8F8F. If you had a purple dragon, its color code would be whatever shade of purple you wanted. If you had a brilliantly bright blue dragon, it could be 03D5FF. ETC., ETC., ETC. If nobody can visualize your dragon, it will be difficult to RP with them. Also, according to the rules, when a dragon speaks, the text is in their color, for example, My name is Sílvrea.
