Sílvrea stretched her wings and skimmed over the ocean's blue waters, a hunk of land just ahead. The dragon pointed her nose to it, and then was distracted by a dolphin leaping just in front of her. The dolphin had glided back beneath the waves by the time Sílvrea had reached the same spot, and then leaped again once the dragon had passed.
"Liking the ride?" Keahi called back over her shoulder to Kanoa, her guest to Vroengard.
As she called out, Sílvrea glided over the island, its many peaks and mountains seemed like nothing compared to even the Spine, some of the smallest mountains in Alagaësia. It was just a few minutes before Sílvrea landed before the gates of Doru Araeba. Stepping through the gates, Sílvrea brought them into the city.
It was something a newcomer could almost never understand. There were elves, dwarves, and humans everywhere. And three Riders, three dragons, could be seen doing whatever they chose to. Saphira flew overhead with Eragon on her back, coming towards them. Aurora was receiving her Riders blade, Eridor watching Saphira hopefully, flirty as any dragon his age. Murtaugh and Thorn were on the sparing grounds.
"What do you think?" asked Keahi, looking for Kanoa's reaction.

"well," he said calmly. "Its not much different from the varden, just a lot more elves and two more riders. Well that, and, its not in a crater with about 20 floors. Can I go say hi to Eragon and Saphira, I met them before, I wonder if they still remember me." said Kanoa hopefully.

//OOC| Since nobody is currently playing Eragon/Saphira, I'll do them. \\
At that moment, Saphira landed in front of Sílvrea, bending her head down and touching her daughter on the top of her head in a dragon sign of affection. Hello, Sílvrea. Hello, mother. Saphira lifted her head again, recognized Kanoa, and said to him, Kanoa. So, we meet again. It is good to see you.
Eragon was less formal. Once Keahi, Kanoa, and Eragon had all dismounted the two dragons, Eragon excitedly greeted his old friend, offering his hand as he did so. "Kan! I haven't seen you for years! It's good have you back."

"Would I? You were the best smith in the entire Varden, dwarves included! Show me yours, and I'll show you mine." Eragon pulled his own Riders' blade from it's blue sheathe, the symbol for Garjzla, or Light etched in the blue metal that first appeared. "I call it Garjzla."

Eragon was astounded with the craftsmanship, even for Kanoa this was an unusually grand craft. "What's the occasion?"

"I made it to impress the blade maker. I want to be her apprentice." Kanoa said, putting the sword away. "Do you think its good enough?"

"It looks great but she is a hard one to crack but I think with your talent you should do fine. She might give you simpithy for being human. In her opinion."

//OOC| He's grounded. I'll post for him for now. \\
"I just hope it'll work." Kanoa answered, brow furrowing with worry. Would his masterpiece be accepted, or refused? Was he good enough? But this wasn't the time to worry. He just had to be optimistic, for now. "Well, I'll see you later, Eragon. Keahi? Let's go see the sword-maker."
-----
"Sure thing. Goodbye, Master Eragon." Keahi took Kanoa's hand and proceeded to lead him quickly towards the sword-maker's home at the edge of the city.
When they arrived, Keahi knocked on the door. The old elf herself answered, and Keahi introduced her to Kanoa. "He's here to try out for your apprenticeship." She explained.
-----
The elf let them in and Kanoa showed her the sword. She considered it for a long moment. Then she banged the sword on the table, looking at him angrily. Kanoa winced, expecting the worst. But she smiled, and said "We start your training tomorrow morning at ten o'clock sharp. Don't be late."
