Shruikan flew around the huge mountains. Soon he turned up and flew up one of them. The whole mountain was brown until Shruikan got up to the clouds, then it was white and covered in snow. He still couldn't see the top of the mountain. The air was getting really thin, and he was above the clouds. He still wasn't at the mountain's top. He flew for a few more minutes and the air got too thin, his sight was blurry. He shouldn't be up this high, he could die. Shruikan did a turning spiral dive down the mountain. Soon everything went back into focus. That was very strange. Shruikan laughed as he flew through a few trees that were between two mountains. He landed on the ground happy to be back home. I love living here! I could never leave this place! Shruikan thought. He walked into a big cave in a mountain by the small forest. As he entered he viewed his recently drawn drawing he had scratched into the wall with his claws. It was of a large girl dragon that he imagined as red. He was very lonely and wanted a mate to share this beautiful place. He walked away from the image trying to think on something peaceful. In his cave there was a palm tree growing on the right side next to his nest. His nest was made of mostly grass and leaves, but it had a few branches that held it together. He was in the process of making a rock sculpture on the left side of his cave. He didn't know what it was going to be yet, but he had melted the rock with the fire that came from his mouth. It had hardened because he hadn't worked with it lately. Shruikan got very bored, so he walked over to his rock sculpture. He started to blow fire on it. It started to melt again, so he moved the melted rock with his one of his claws. He started to shape human legs at the bottom; the big boots and he started with the pants. He got up to the crouch and finished the lower body of the human. Then he started to shape the humans tunic and undershirt. He stopped at the neck. It was very hard to sculpt a humans face. He decided to let it harden and finish it later. Shruikan walked over to his nest and laid down, soon he fell asleep.
Moonlight shined onto the floor of the cave, as Shruikan stood at the entrance casting a dark shadow. He looked up at the sky, which he did almost every night from pure love of the moon. He would go to sleep in the middle of the day to wake up in the middle of the night and see the moon and the sunrise. Shruikan burst a deep roar to the moon. It was his sign of affection.
